MATTHEW J. NEGRIN -

Matthew J. Negrin is an associate
attorney with Pumilia Patel & Adamec LLP practicing in the firm’s
corporate and business transactional practice and litigation
practice. Mr. Negrin represents business clients in matters
such as the incorporation and organization of business entities,
securities issues, mergers and acquisitions, financing, preparation
and review of business contracts, and day-to-day counseling on a
variety of legal matters that affect businesses. Mr. Negrin
also represents clients before the State Courts of California and
other jurisdictions.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Negrin
represented business clients in corporate matters such as the
purchase and sale of assets; mergers and acquisitions, including a
reverse merger into a public shell; capital-raising transactions;
the formation of business entities, including corporations and
limited liability companies; the preparation and review of business
contracts, including employment agreements, consulting agreements,
and licensing agreements; and general corporate management.
In addition, Mr. Negrin worked at a
boutique securities defense firm representing large broker-dealers
and brokers before the NASD, the SEC, the Federal and State Courts
of California, and the State Courts of Florida in connection with
customer disputes and regulatory actions. Mr. Negrin secured a
$16 million judgment on behalf of a client at an NASD arbitration
hearing.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Negrin
was a certified public account with the accounting firm of Deloitte
& Touche. Mr. Negrin worked in the Fraud and Forensic
Accounting Group providing expertise to attorneys and corporations
involving forensic accounting, financial fraud, corporate
investigations, and damage computations, and in the Audit
Department.
Mr. Negrin is a member of the State
Bars of California and Florida. Mr. Negrin graduated from the
A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University and from Loyola
Law School, where he served as Technical Editor of the Loyola of Los
Angeles Entertainment Law Review.
